Elizabeth Woods, 96, passed on May 15th. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Woods.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Albert E. and Helen L. (Heffernan) Mattison.
Mrs. Woods had been employed by Western Union for five years and at the Memorial Hospital of Pawtucket for fifteen years.
She is survived by her children, Susan E. Nadeau of Central Falls, Steven R. Woods, his wife Carol of Pascoag, Sharon E. Bizier, her husband Richard Bizier of Lincoln, four grandchildren, Robert Nadeau, Rebecca Woods, Nicholas and Kyle Ogni, two great grandchildren, Ethan Dulmaine and Sophia Elizabeth Ogni, a granddaughter in law Jane O’Donnell and several beloved nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her two-family dogs, Bosco and Parker. Elizabeth was the sister of the late Walter Mattison, Mary Bailey and Helen Beaulieu.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 18th at 11am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Visitation will be held Tuesday morning starting at 9am.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St, Providence, RI 02906.
